That Billy Carson / Wes Huff debate was great. Thanks for posting. Here's one of the comments:
I hope Wes sees this comment. I have been an atheist that believed many of Billy's claims for my entire life. since the debate Ive been watching a lot of your content and im going to say something I have never said before. Wes has single handedly dismantled my entire world view on the Abrahamic doctrines. Not only do I realize how incorrect Ive been my entire life, I am beginning to believe the Christians may actually be right about everything. I cant believe Im saying that, but its true. Thanks Wes, for shattering my world view and setting me down on a solid foundation.

Looks like her parents divorced and remarried each other multiple times. She was caught in a lot of instability and needed threapy to navigate changing custody court orders.
Still, almost impossible to imagine a15 year old girl doing this.

Looks like there is a manifesto circulating on the internet attributed to her. It is a very dark diatribe against humanity in general and her parents in particular.
If it is really hers, she stated that she had planned to commit suicide for a long time but felt that perpetrating a shooting would be “better for evolution rather than just one stupid boring suicide.

The fact that she is female is shocking. It is mostly males who do this kind of stuff. Testosterone is a powerful chemical and helps men be strong and aggressive when that is called for.
The last big school shooting was a female who thought she was a man. I presumed she was taking male hormones. At least that helped make a little sense of the tragedy.
I hope this is not another such situation, but if so, perhaps it’s time to take a look at changing teenagers natural chemical makeup.

Like the one in Tennessee, this one in Maddison, WI, was done be a female. The police chief points out that:
“Yes, I don’t know whether [the shooter] was transgender or not, and quite frankly, I don’t think that’s even important. I don’t think that’s important at all.”
He continued, “I don’t think that whatever happened today has anything to do with how she or he or they may have wanted to identify.I hope this is not another gender confused teen turned mass murderer.

God or Satan?

All of these things were denied by "experts" at one ime or another.
Roundness of the earth
The earth floating in space
conservation of energy - Eccl, 3: 14
"Cords" of Pleiades and Orion (gravitationally bound star groups) Eccl 1: 9
Uncountable number of stars
You can count the visible stars, around 10,000. But you don't live long enough to count the trillions of stars that we now know are there.
Expansion of the universe
God stretches out the heavens - (present tense)
Sooner or later, everyone will have a biblical view because its author is the author of truth.

From "Got Questions"
The Gospel of John doesn’t explicitly name its author. At every mention of himself, the author states that he is “the disciple whom Jesus loved” (e.g., John 13:23). The author was an eyewitness to the events (see John 21:24), and, based on the fact that he was the disciple “leaning back against Jesus” at the Last Supper (John 13:25), he was likely one of Jesus’ inner circle, with Peter and James.Peter is mentioned as separate from the author (John 21:20), and James was martyred early in the history of the church (Acts 12:2). That leaves John as the remaining disciple of the inner three and, thus, the author.
Apart from the internal clues, the early church uniformly affirmed the authorship of John. Church fathers like Irenaeus plainly spoke of John writing an epistle. Besides Irenaeus, writers like Tatian, Theophilus, Clement, and Tertullian attributed the fourth Gospel to John. John’s Gospel was more theological because he sought to address the theological issues faced by the newer generation of Christians as the apostolic age ended. False teachers had sprung up, questioning core beliefs of Christianity, such as Jesus’ humanity (see 1 John). As a counter, John began his Gospel by introducing the Word who was God and who became flesh (John 1:1, 14).If John was not the author of his book, where is the testimony of the early church pastors claiming fraud? In fact, , they claimed John was the author:
The early church father Irenaeus (d. AD 200) claimed that John wrote the Fourth Gospel after he was released from prison on the island of Patmos (Rv 1:9) and lived in Ephesus. Irenaeus also wrote that he personally learned this information from the aged Polycarp, bishop of Smyrna (d. AD 155), who in turn was discipled by the apostle John.

This thread was meant to be a next logical question after determining the belief that: Jesus is God and Man, and was believed upon by Christians from the time the events were recorded by the apostles all the way throuhgh to AD 325. At that time hundreds of Pastors from a wide geographic area from all corners of the Roman empire voted on Arius the heretic. His Unitarian ideas were rejected UNANIMOUSLY with two votes abstaining.
That thread is HERE. Now that we know who believers thought Jesus was, the question on this thread is simply, why did he do it? Why did God create us in the first place?
@SlimBoyFat
interestingly, the answer to the question why we were created is, at the same time, also a demonstration that Jesus is distinct from and subordinate to God - because it is Jesus’s purpose in life, alongside the rest of creation, to worship God.
Your statement assumes a materialistic view for the nature of man. This philosophical superimposition on scripture is unnecessary, unbiblical, and ignores the accepted definitions of words common at the time the NT in Israel at the time.
Using biblical definitions, it is clear how Jesus can be subordinate to God, and God at the same time. This was discussed at length on the other thread dealing with the question of "Who". This thread is about Why. Why did he create us?
